Steve Price is pastor of Calvary Chapel Bear Creek. He has been pastoring the Bear Creek Church for about 10 years. The word of God has changed Steve’s life, coming from a life of selling drugs and living on the streets back in the 60s, to pastoring a church in the Inland Empire. Steve’s passion in life is teaching and living the word and taking the word to the far corners of the earth in Sudan Africa. These blogs will be from those special times when the Holy Spirit has moved Steve and he simply has to share it with some one.
It is also true in the believers life.(This spiritual blindness) If there is sin-or continued sin-being held on to and practiced or evidenced in behavior-in a believers life-I am convinced that there will also be blindness to spiritual things or even understanding of the things of God-perhaps illustrated by the “Babes”-in the letters to the Corintians. The character of those immature because of on-going sin (not demonic-posessession) tore apart churches and families-as it does today.
Thank you, Pastor Steve, of stating the fact that this stuff can only be overcome in a church,or family,or person-by “much prayer and fasting”-as Jesus said to His disciples on one occasion.
Jesus knew “what was in the heart of man”…perhaps this sort of explains his going off by Himself to pray-and most of that prayer was for His men.
Heavy charge for us Pastors.

Dear James, It was so good to hear from you on my blog on the web. I plan on coming to Sudan again in the latter part of July this year. I would love to see you again if at all possible. I pray that God is still using you in a might way. I praise God that South Sudan is becoming its own country. There was a lot of blood shed for this wonderful day. May God richly bless you today, and may he protect you and use you to spread the gospel.
God Bless
